Computer Services Unlimited, Inc. seeks: Field IT Specialist.
Employee is required to repair, prepare, set-up, re-equip, and replace computers, networks, printers, and laptops. Repair duties are limited to platform troubleshooting, cloud back-up system set-up, or reconfigurations. Set-ups include network design and implementation, configuration of firewalls and/or migrating configurations between platforms.
Job Location: Owings Mills, MD.
Duties include:
- Troubleshooting user issues and repairing equipment on-site.
- Preparing and setting up new equipment for company clients.
- Installing and configuring network equipment at client locations, including providing support and troubleshooting.
- Configuring firewalls.
- Installing and configuring Wi-Fi access points.
- Installing and configuring surveillance cameras and setting up NVR devices.
- On site server installation at client offices.
- Configuring and troubleshooting backup systems on-site.
- Conducting onboarding for new clients, including creating an inventory list of all equipment and information.
- Executing on-site projects, such as launching new client offices, re-equipping
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science required. Minimum 24 months of prior experience as a Field IT Specialist, System Administrator, or related title. Travel is required 2-3 times per week within the Baltimore-Columbia-Towson areas and 1-2 times per month in the Washington-Arlington-Alexandria, DC-VA-MD-WV areas.
Salary $102,086 per year.
